Recent research shows that 23% of Year 11 Pupils are not getting access to the level of careers support they need.
And that figure rises in Year 12 and 13. Shocking but true. Our education system is simply not given enough finance to support anything more.
But why does that matter? Without access to quality careers advice and guidance from a skilled professional, a student’s life is going to be much harder than it needs to be. Their education, dreams, mental health and wellbeing will all be adversely affected. And their finances too.
Caroline assisted my daughter during her UCAS application and the advice, knowledge and expertise given helped her gain 5 university offers. Caroline, you are amazing, thank you!
I just wanted to say a huge Thank you for all the advice & support that you gave my daughter in her preparation for her University interview today. She said that she found all your advice & feedback extremely useful & was so glad that she took the sessions with you. She was so pleased when she received her university offer this afternoon and I think that the help that you gave her along with your calming influence really made the difference in assisting her to achieve her goal.
Thank you for your help with student X, he was on the path to full time exclusion but following your conversation, has now turned things around as he can see a plan for this future and how to get there.
I am much clearer on the wider opportunities that exist within the careers advice sector and how I might be able to access them.
Caroline has been supporting me develop an L&D plan for my Careers Guidance business. She has helped me ascertain my aims with training and developing my associate staff. She has put together a series of activities that will not only help us concretely identify the skills and knowledge standards we want the team to develop, but also, CPD activities that will help us achieve the standards.
Caroline worked with me when I was applying for Universities and considering career path options. She is extremely well connected in her field and has an in depth understanding of not only how to pick the right University for you but also how to navigate the complicated UCAS application process. Her naturally calm and reassuring style encouraged me to have scary but honest conversations with her, supporting me to make tough decisions. Without a shadow of a doubt, I would not be where I am today without Caroline’s support.
